Oyo Is Changing For Better – Ajimobi
Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State
on Friday said his administration’s efforts in the last 23 months are
changing the state for the better.
The governor stated this at a lecture to mark the 54th birthday anniversary of his wife, Florence, at the Western Hall, Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan.
Ajimobi, who hinged the development in the state to his administration’s urban renewal programme, expressed happiness that the state, which used to be known for violence and brigandage, had been transformed.
According to him, the peace being experienced in the state attracts both local and foreign investors.
The governor, who congratulated his wife on her birthday, said that she was celebrating her virtue of godliness and service to humanity.
The guest lecturer on the occasion, Prof. Janice Olawoye, urged women to set challenges aside and hold their heads high in order to achieve their potentials.
