Interesting Story of the Famous ALAJO SOMOLU

Image
While growing u, I heard my parents use the words “ALAJO SOMOLU” on many occasions in a positive remark, without having an idea of the story behind the ‘character’. Here’s the story as shared by Consultville: Alphaeus Taiwo Olunaike is not a name that many Nigerians are familiar with. But once you mention Baba Alajo Somolu, the eyes of millions of Nigerians will light up. Yes, they are more familiar with this nomenclature. He was born at a very dangerous time. A perilous period in Nigeria’s history. It was on the 16th of September 1915 in the tiny city of Isan-Oyin (now called Isonyin), close to Ijebu-Musin and Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State, southwestern Nigeria. Within the thick groves of thick forests and the brilliant foliage of green tropical plants, the cries of newly-born babies pierced the calm and peace of the forest. The amendment included altering the tenure of office of the chairman and members of the Code of Conduct Bureau. The exercise follows months of discussions in the Senate, regarding the need to amend the bill. Saraki had criticised the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), which filed the charges against him, for not inviting him for questioning, on the charges before it filed them. Although, the actual amendments to the act were done by the House Of Representatives and passed on May 31, the Senate concurred with the House and passed the bill on October 27. Early in the year, the upper le

EXERCISE WORKS ON YOUR SKIN

Image
Most of us work out to lose some weight, have bikini bodies, six packs, sexy abs and for some just to keep fit and healthy. Of course these are very good reasons for exercising and I am very guilty of the above reasons especially the bikini body part wink . But did you know that WORKING OUT WORKS ON YOUR SKIN too??? If you are usually not motivated to work out then this might just be the motivation you need. You can start working out for your skin. I hear you say “how does it work?” I’d try to keep this as simple as possible, no science jargons. The truth is the same way exercise keeps your muscles toned is the same way it can keep your skin toned too, just as it keeps your body healthy it also keeps your skin healthy and even adds a glow to it. Like eating right, whatever keeps your body healthy keeps your skin healthy. When you work out your heart beats faster which means it’s going to be pumping more blood than it usually does. This results to better circulation
