Kogi Promises N175m to Students Across the Country
Kogi state Governor Idris Wada has announced that the local government will disburse up to N175.4 million scholarship to over 46 thousand students of 109 teaching institutions across the country.
Wada stated this while receiving members of the state Scholarship Board led by its chairman, Dr. Rekiya Momoh-Abaji. The Governor asked the board to ensure that genuine students get the bursary allowance.
He also promised that the government would address the various problems confronting the board, as earlier Dr. Momoh-Abaji in her address admitted the board requires another N 8,450.000 for travel allowances and expenses.
