Injured pair look to shake off recent troubles.

Korey Smith and Liam Moore could return to City’s squad for tomorrow night’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Nottingham Forest (7.45pm).

Smith has benefited from the international break in his bid to overcome a groin complaint, suffered in the dying stages of City’s clash with Reading on September 19th.

Leicester City loanee Moore underwent a hernia operation before the last home game with MK Dons, but returned to training at Failand this week.

“They’re both progressing well,” manager Steve Cotterill told bcfc.co.uk. “The break has really helped Korey and Liam is back in training with us now too.”

Unfortunately the news on the injury front isn’t all positive, with Scott Wagstaff suffering a setback.

“His calf injury has flared up again,” added Cotterill. “It’s disappointing for Waggy and for everyone really. We just need to put a halt on his work to make sure he gets his calf right again.”
