Shark Helps Man To Discover Cancerous Tumour On Kidney

In a bizarre twist of fate a shark saved man’s life after terrifying attack led to cancer discovery!
Eugene Finney from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, US, was with his childen and girlfriend at the beach when he went for a swim and felt a shark smashed into him.
When he got out of the water his back was covered with bruises and cuts but he decided not to go to hospital. And only after pain in back, chest and abdomen became unbearable he visited the doctor.

While examining Finney doctors found blunt-force trauma along with a cancerous walnut-sized tumor on his right kidney. Luckily, the cancer was detected early and was removed soon afterwards without radiation or chemotherapy treatments.
Recalling the events of that day, he said: “Something struck me from behind. I’d never been hit like that before. It was pretty jarring. It kind of gave me instant whiplash.

If this didn’t happen with the shark, causing me to go in with this chest pain, I would have never known about this cancer. The shark was a real message to me. I feel fortunate. I really feel like I’ve gotten a second chance at life and I’m not going to blow it.”
