By Anu   /
okagbare relay teamTeam Nigeria now has one last chance to win something from athletics at the ongoing Rio Olympics.
The development comes from the qualification of the quartet of Bless Okagbare, Gloria Asumnu, Jennifer Madu and Agnes Osazuwa for the finals of women’s 4x100m relay at the Olympic Games.
Okagbare, on Thursday, led Team Nigeria into the finals after posting a 42.55sec finish.
The Nigerian quartet came second in heat two behind Germany who clocked 42.18sec and they will hope they can salvage something for Nigeria in the finals billed for 10.15pm Friday in Brazil (2.15am Saturday in Nigeria).

It has been disappointments galore for Nigeria at the Olympics as day after day, the country’s athletes crashed out of their respective races with some not even making it before the first round.
